Nigel Irens collaboration

The fantastic Nigel Irens 50ft ketch has successfully hit the water. Team Fish were happy to assist with the full detail design, working alongside Irens. Made of traditional wood and epoxy construction, the design ensures an incredibly robust and solid finish.

Fish were delighted to be asked to collaborate with Nigel Irens on the design of this modern blue water classic cruising yacht. Built and finished to a fabulous standard by The Elephant Boatyard this is a true go anywhere yacht; a fine tribute to the original Saecwen which belonged to the owner’s grandfather. Fish supplied the detail design of the deck and interior with weight and ballasting calculations. Modern convenience has been artfully wrapped in period features to create one of the finest round the world capable sailing yachts.
